Who can contribute
- BC resident, and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- No organizations — no companies, unions, societies, or your own business.
- Your own money. No reimbursements, and you cannot give on someone else’s behalf.
How much
- $1,429.70 in total to this campaign in 2026, counting money, loans, and in-kind. Elections BC adjusts it annually.
- Over the limit has to be returned. The limit applies every year.
What is recorded
- Full name, home address, date, and amount. Home address, not a box number.
- $100 or more in the year is publicly disclosed. Elections BC obscures addresses.
- No anonymous gifts online. Not tax-receiptable. Accepted by Bede Blomme, financial agent.
